Why is the PC in Scornubel?
In one sense, this is the most important question to consider when you are creating your character.
Races
Because of the nature of these lands, it would be best to avoid any of the more monstrous races (including drow). However, should your starting character die and not be raised, there may be other racial options later in the campaign.
